The Open Directory - a way forward?

Day Two:
Dajuroka is undergoing major changes. Very messy. I am doing it in bits as time is just floating away.

I am looking hard at classifications of the web pages or URLs that I am indexing. The Open Directory Project seems to offer a lot but it is fairly USA influenced "i.e. teens instead of teeenagers and math instead of mathematics. That being said it would appear that Google feels it is worthwhile as a starting point. Anyhow its big over 500000 categories. There goes another few lifetimes.

Anyhow today was a very full day with little R having a birthday, 7 years old, and lot of school kids all running around. Bionicles coming out of our ears. Toys, toys toys fantastic.

Anyhow must have a think about this blog stuff and see what I can write that might be of interest.
